Now, I'm beginning to realise that fitness is not just about doing crunches here and there but it involves eating healthy meals too. Healthy meals is quite hard to get these days especially when there are sooo many convenient processed food being sold. Think about donuts, cup cakes, those fast foods and many others. They are very easy to get and aren't that expensive than a bottle of food supplements. So, if you're looking for unprocessed food like whole grains and stuff ... you just gotta work a bit harder to look for it and maybe spend a little bit more on those too. If you haven't notice, organic food is much more expensive than the non organic one.
Also I've step up a notch in my fitness training. Instead of doing cardio and strength training a few days in a week ... I've been doing it every single day now. Between 30-45 minutes a day. I only skipped 1-2 days usually on weekend to chill and relax. I need a lot of zzz time too to ensure I have the energy to go to work the next day. I've been keeping a regular snooze time of 7-8 hours/day. Seriously! I'm that strict with my snooze time now hence I don't mind missing aaaaalll the time browsing the Internet as I know my body will be well rested to face the following day at work. Yay!
So, in a nutshell in the past few weeks my work at the office was ... well work is work. Nothing is changing in that department. :- In the fitness department, I've combined strength training at home and running outdoor for 30-45 minutes daily now. I've taken healthier food such as low fat milk, salad with varieties of nuts thrown in it, consumed less white rice, only cook using olive oil and add my intake of fruits.
My goal is to have a healthy, fit and strong mind and body. So, if any of you readers are wondering what the heck I'm up to .... you've got your answer now, do you?
