So these are the places that I plan to visit in Tokyo in no particular order.
well not yet ... still eyeing promo ticket from Air Asia. Haha. But the itinerary for my trip to Japan is almost complete. I've been researching A LOT about backpacking to Japan and all I can say is .... I can't wait for the trip to Japan next year at the start of Spring. So, Air Asia... please be nice to me and give some AWESOME-THE-BOMB promo ticket to Tokyo soon ...ok! OK!!! So these are the places that I plan to visit in Tokyo in no particular order. There are few things I have to do before I can go to Japan... like getting a flight ticket.. Haha. 2nd most important thing is getting a visa to enter Japan. Also, a few other bookings, So, hopefully things will go the way I plan it. Cheers!

My sister and I. What a lovely morning that Sunday was.Everyone is in their identical white t-shirts and beaming positive moods. Me and my sister were no different as we wait for the warm up sessions to start at 7:15 am. The venue is Tasik Titiwangsa. The scenery of the lake made more lovely with heart shaped red balloons floating almost everywhere. My sister didn't wait a second and rushed out to the queue to get herself one of those red balloons. Met a friend, Syar who is a just started to run a few months back and loving it. I must say that she is the most enthusiastic beginner that I have ever met! But then again Syar is always enthusiastic about almost everything that she does! I can't say that I'm enthusiastic about the warm up session though. Really! Just because the instructor kept repeating almost the same workout routine for that 30 minutes warm up session. Boooooriiinnnnggg! I ended up doing my own workout routine myself! Haha. The run is almost 5 km. Yerp, almost. I don't know what my timing was for that short a run because I didn't turn on my Nike+ sportwatch until halfway through the route. Haha. But I know I ran a little harder than my long runs just because it is a relatively short route. Funnily enough, I had to slow down twice because of this stabbing pain that I experienced at the upper right side of my chest. I felt like a needle pricked me in the chest at the exact same spot ... TWICE! I don't know know what to make of it. But the pain subsided the moment I slowed down pace. Once I reached the finishing line ... well the pain just disappeared. Huh! But other than that... I'm all fine. This run was organized by Institut Jantung Negara (IJN). Yerp, wonder no more why the run is called "Run for your heart" and why the medal and balloons were in the shape of a heart. There was a booth set up to give everyone a free health screening. I signed myself to get one. By the end of the screening I've got green lights for my weight, blood glucose level, blood pressure is a bit high (but still under normal range). So, yay for those! Surprisingly, my cholesterol level is slightly over the normal level. Okaaaaaayyyy! Although the level is not that alarming but I'm starting to control my food intake now. Especially those foods that contain high level of fats or cholesterol. I'm limiting myself to those kind of food now - not wanting to see the red scale going up higher. Now, if you really love your heart and wanted to know how your heart is doing then IJN is offering a few screening programs that you can take. This include a consultation with a specialist on the same day of the screening and a comprehensive medical report within 7 days (if I'm not mistaken). I'm considering of taking the screening program too - prevention is better than cure right? So for more information visit Institut Jantung Negara website here.
