I do mind when it wasn't returned back to pantry where this person took it from! Now, I'm mugless ... I miss my mug.
People can easily be attracted to something beautiful. Say for an instance there are 2 guys past you by. I bet you would definitely notice the more good looking of the two ... because naturally we do get attracted to something beautiful, aren't we? It goes beyond that actually. It also apply to things like house, shirts, hand bag, shoes, watch right down to a mug. Yes, a mug can be beautiful. I have one beautiful mug and I lost it 2 days ago at the panty. I don't know who took my mug but I can't blame him /her for liking it.

I've spent countless hours for the past 3 days trying to get rid of a bitchy malware from my netbook. It all started when I downloaded a file from my inbox. A file I received from DHL ... or so I thought. The soon I double clicked on the file to open it, this Security Tool software automatically installed into my netbook and instantly it is bombarded with pop ups of various virus threats.
I have to admit that I panicked for the first 5 minutes seeing all the virus warnings that popped up every 30 seconds. But then I felt something wasn't right. I have antivirus installed but it didn't detect any of the 39 threats that Security Tool have prompted me. Plus this program installed itself without any prompt that it will do so. Then, to my horror I can't connect to my broadband, my add and remove program was disabled by this bitch. To cut it short any attempt to delete this Security Tool was disabled. The only thing I can do is to buy the program that supposedly will clean my system from aaaalll the virus threats. It cost about USD70 if I'm not mistaken. I know something fishy is going on. So, I didn't purchase the clean up software. I went to the nearest wifi access and thank god it didn't block the access to the Internet. So, I figured this program was coded not to damage a computer system but instead trying to scare unsuspected victim to buy a product to remove virus threats that wasn't even exists in the system. Clever bitch ey? Trying to rob in a broad daylight ... using the smart way. Since this was first experienced of having my netbook infected with a malware, I kept scanning my system with various anti malware softwares that I can get my hands on. But it doesn't' work at all. The bitch successfully blocked or disabled every attempt to get rid of it. I was almost resorting to reformatting my netbook when I came across a website that gave me detailed instructions how to disabled the bitch before it had a chance to run around with its bitchiness. When the process for the program was deleted, the program itself won't load into Windows thus cleaning process is a breeze. It was in fact quite easy to get rid of the bitch if you learned a few little trick. Now, my netbook is malware free but the whole experience in trying to find the solutions was a nightmare but a good learning process. Lucky me, I did not buy the program but others who did will have to dispute the charge to their credit card company which gonna take away precious time. So, moral of the story is DHL, FeDex or any other courier company will not send you notification via email. If you received them in your inbox, just delete it. Another thing to note, do take a look at the file name that you're about to click. If it has .exe and you don't recognize the source, better not open it. I have learned my lesson well this week. Cheers! Uniqlo is Japan's clothing store that has recently opened their first store here in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Uniqlo resides at Fahrenheit 88 formerly known as KL Plaza. I went there on the second day of their opening on 5/11/10. I started joining a long line of people at 5:30 pm. Yes, there was a looooong queue to enter the Uniqlo. The line started from the entrance of Fahrenheit 88 itself. It was an organized line as if Uniqlo's management have expected a big crowd swarming their store even on the second day of their opening. After 20 minutes of lining up I was finally allowed to go in. It was a big clothing store 3 floors up. I didn't bring my camera so there wasn't any picture to show while I was inside. Since I needed some new tops for my casual wear to office. I found exactly what I'm looking for. Lucky for me, it was under special price. I bought 3 tops and I've got each for RM24.90 from original price of RM39.90. Whoo hoo! The good thing about their clothes was that it doesn't bear their logo. No one will actually notice the top or the pants that you're wearing is bought from Uniqlo. If there was a logo, it was very discreet and almost unnoticeable. Cool eh!
Ok this might be a little bit of old news to some. The government recently announced during the budget that the the excise duty for all hybrid cars will be fully exempted until end of 2011. A decision that I very much applaud. Although the goverment should have done this a few years back to promote green technology such as hybrid engines but it is not too late to support such initiative.
This will only mean one thing obviously. The price for both Honda Civic Hybrid and Toyota Prius (the only two hybrid cars available in Malaysia now) will be slashed significantly. In fact Toyota have announced that the new price for Prius is RM36k cheaper that what it previously was. Wow! I think I've mentioned in this blog somewhere that I absolutely adore the Civic Hybrid. So looks like the price for it will likely to go down to around RM100k come next year. But so far I haven't heard of any official announcement by Honda Malaysia yet. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Ngehehehe. |
