I don't know maybe it's just me. This looks lame to me. I thought it's gonna be some kinda happening carnival. But it ain't. It looks like a failed flea market.
What was the first thing that crossed your mind when you saw the billboard above? Something HAPPENING, right? Especially when this billboard is erected beside Jalan Ampang just right next to Saloma Bistro. This event apparently takes place every Sunday at 9 am. The is the view at 10 am. Deserted. There were a lot of canopies erected. Quite a few tables were still empty while others were already set up and some were being set up by their occupants. I keep reminding myself that this fell on a Sunday and people tend to wake up late. Perhaps the occupants for the empty tables were still asleep??????? Then there were traditional dance a little later. Sooo not cool. Where is the traditional costumes? I don't know maybe it's just me. This looks lame to me. I thought it's gonna be some kinda happening carnival. But it ain't. It looks like a failed flea market. Other stuffs that was available there. Click on the picture for larger view. I left the place less than 10 minutes later. There wasn't anything much to see and do. There were small numbers of stalls selling food. The food wasn't too inviting. Like I said there was a section for flea market. I didn't take any pictures of the stalls selling some accessories and stuffs though. If you want to try and hang around and see what else is available here then prolly you might wanna come a little later. After lunch perhaps?

Ok the celebration was actually yesterday. Although I'm no longer in school but I still want to wish all teachers out there HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY (',)
Thinking back, without all the teachers that have teached me in the past ... I wonder where would I be today. My mom and dad can't teach me science, math, accounts, grammar and all other subjects in school. So, teachers does have a big shoes to fill. To educate the kids. I solute all the teachers out there. I'm tired. Physically and mentally. I am unhappy. I'm not upset ... just unhappy. I need to look out of a new window. A window with a different view. No, a window with a COMPLETELY different view. Enough of the old window. A drastic change is what I need the most now. I need to find that new window and jump out of it into a world that will promise me new things. New beginnings. New adventure. New world. This picture is not mine. Taken somewhere from the web.
These view was taken on top of a hill at the outskirt of KL. It was a magnificent view of KL at night. On a night as clear as last Saturday (rain was pouring down in the evening) the view is sooo breathtaking and awesome. This is Look Out Point situated on top of a hill in Ampang. Apart from the view, you can also hang out with friends while having your dinner here. There's 4 restaurants or cafes up here. Serving local and western food. I went to Panaroma Restaurant. Situated at the very top of the hill. Much less crowded restaurant compared to the rest. Probably because there is another flight of stairs to climb to reach this restaurant. Hehe. Close to midnight this will also be the coldest place. You'll see haze breezing through the air and the temperature will dropped slightly.
If you plan to come up here for the view than you will not be disappointed. But if your main intention is to have a good meal ... I can't say much. The food is just so so for me. A spoiler, service at some restaurant is a 'bit' slow. More info on Look Out Point can be found at their website here. You can also find Google map to the place just so you can bet you won't lost your way here. This place is crowded on weekends especially during peak hour between 8-11 pm. If you happened to come around during this hour ... don't park your car at the top as the space is limited. Parking is just RM2 even on weekends. It has been 2 weeks I didn't manage to see you. I keep coming to your place every single week but you weren't there. I know you're only available only on Friday. I came every Friday but I was left devastated again and again. I'm so sad ... no, I'm sooo frustrated. "Kenapa makcik ni lambat sangat goreng cendawan ni?" Hish! Ketagih cendawan goreng ... setiap Jumaat mesti pergi beli. Op, wajib beli! I wanna go down and get it. "Makcik, cepat la sket goreng!"
