So it's only natural that this year I decided to challenge myself to join running event like the upcoming one organized by SHAPE magazine on 31/07/10. It's a night run in Putrajaya. No sun means less heat .. I suppose. Hihi. So, I have signed myself up for the 5 km Fun Run because I don't think I have the stamina for the competitive 12.3 km run. Huhu. I still have about 7 weeks or so to prepare for this run ... so no rush there.
But boooyyy, I was wrong. Recently, A friend have suggested that I join the 7.5 km competitive run in Damansara on 19/06/10. I immediately said yes wihout no second thought. It's all good I thought to myself (confidence building up). But when I look at my calendar ... I thought ... shit! I only have about 6 days to prepare for this run! @#^$&%&*&%*$%&%^&^. From what I've learned, it is advisable to rest 3 days before running day hence 6 days left to prepare. Gulp!
Ok, I hope it is not raining outside for the next 6 days for me to start practise and building up my stamina for the run on the 19th.
